Provications of Thought

Too many times, we as a society get lost in the idea of what to post in order to interject upon our friends and family and acquaintances what exactly we are feeling.  No longer do we have the ability to tell each other face-to-face, rather it is post to post or page to page.  I am not against posting on Facebook or Twitter, because I have my share of silly postings as well.

Divulding secrets from one mouth to one ear was much easier to hide than keeping a secret email address or using your Facebook messages to trash another individual.  Secrets have the ability to get lost or misplaced in the hearts and minds of the ones granted with the priveledge of knowing the secret.  But the internet is all-knowing and never forgets the keys that you have punched in order to create the secret message.  David Patraeus is a great example of this technological truth.

Beware of gossip, rumors, lies or even truth for that matter.  The changing of passwords only hides future postings and messages, but does not necessarily cover the past.
